Privacy Policy

Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.

Instagram Data: When you connect your Instagram professional account, we access your profile information, media posts, stories, insights, and engagement metrics through the Instagram API.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including chat messages with the AI assistant, automation configurations, and feature usage patterns.

Device Information: We collect device identifiers, operating system, app version, and push notification tokens to deliver notifications and improve the Service.

We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service, including AI chat and automation features; (b) analyze your Instagram data to generate insights and recommendations; (c) send push notifications about automation results and important updates; (d) improve and personalize your experience; (e) communicate with you about your account and support requests; (f) ensure the security and integrity of the Service.

Third-Party AI Service Provider: Your data is processed by Amazon Bedrock, a service operated by Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), to power the AI assistant features in Influgent. Data is processed in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany) region.

Data Sent to AI Services: When you use the AI assistant, the following data may be sent to Amazon Bedrock for processing: (a) your chat messages and questions; (b) your Instagram profile information including username, bio, and follower count; (c) Instagram post data including captions, engagement metrics, and posting times; (d) photos or documents you choose to share for analysis.

Purpose of AI Processing: This data is used to generate personalized AI-powered insights, content recommendations, performance analysis, and growth strategies tailored to your Instagram account.

AI Data Protection: We do not use your personal data to train general-purpose AI models. Your data is not shared with or sold to other third parties through AI processing. Amazon Bedrock processes your data under strict data protection agreements and does not use your inputs to improve their foundation models. AI-generated content is based on your data and should be reviewed before acting upon it.

Consent: Before your data is sent to AI services for the first time, the app will ask for your explicit consent. You may decline, in which case AI features will not be available, but other features of the app will continue to work.

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AWS-managed encryption) to protect your data. Authentication is managed through AWS Cognito with industry-standard security practices.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: (a) Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Amazon Bedrock for AI processing — AWS provides the same or equal protection for your data under their data processing agreements; (b) Meta/Instagram as required by their API terms; (c) payment processors (Apple/Google) for subscription management; (d) RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management; (e) Sentry for crash reporting and error tracking; (f) PostHog for anonymized analytics; (g) law enforcement when required by law. All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements that provide equal or greater protection of your data.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Instagram media and insights data are synced periodically and stored to provide historical analysis. When you delete your account, we delete all associated data including media files, chat history, preferences, and Instagram data from our systems.

You have the right to: (a) access your personal data through the app; (b) disconnect your Instagram account at any time; (c) delete your account and all associated data; (d) opt out of push notifications; (e) request a copy of your data by contacting support. If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have rights under GDPR including the right to rectification, restriction of processing, and data portability.

We use push notifications to inform you about automation results and important updates. You can manage notification preferences in the app settings or disable them entirely through your device's system settings. Device tokens are stored securely and deleted when you unregister or delete your account.

Influgent is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly. Users between 13 and 18 should review this policy with a parent or guardian before using the Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
